What is OrgSync?

OrgSync is a web application that allows students to join, organize, manage and communicate with other students, student organizations and other EOU departments and their members.

OrgSync also means less paperwork. Forms used by student organizations will be available online through OrgSync and the CSI OrgSync created website.

Why is OrgSync Beneficial To You?

OrgSync encourages student involvement and awareness by making it easier to get any information needed about a club or organization. It allows for maximum advertising for events on campus, some event planning features include: promoting for events, selling tickets through OrgSync, track your events attendance, manage to-do lists, sending reminders and messages via text, email, and OrgSync message, and sending invites in mass quantities.

OrgSync at EOU is also not just utilized through Center for Student Involvement. Residence Life has also joined on the OrgSync bandwagon. With Resident Assistants planning events through OrgSync and housing forms and files also ready at your convenience OrgSync is constantly growing and will hopefully be utilized by most major departments at EOU.

Another great resource that OrgSync has to offer is the option to give each club/org its own website where they can be creative and show off all events, news, videos, photos, meeting times, members, and staff.

You get to know everything that is happening on campus. Through OrgSync you get too see a master calendar of all the events that are taking place on campus. It is a great way to know when that certain event you've been waiting for is happening, see where, when, what time, and if it is free or not.

Another AMAZING feature is the Student ePortfolios. The ePortfolio is a personal website to organize, showcase, and reflect on academic coursework, co-curricular involvement, and internships and employment. It allows you to upload work samples, solicit professional recommendations, and link to social media profiles. Here are six more reasons to use the OrgSync ePortfolio:

You can start using your ePortfolio now. It is located in "My Tools" on the top menu bar and click "ePortfolio".

How Do I Get Started?

Create an Account

1.  Go to http://eou.orgsync.com
2. Select "Login to OrgSync"
3. Select "Not a member? Register now"
4. Complete account information using your "@eou.edu" email
5. Complete profile information

Join an Organization

1. Select "My Orgs" in navigation bar and click "Join an Org"
2. Browse organizations that you are involved in or may want to be involved in
3. You can search for an organization by name, category, or key word
4. You can click on the name of a student organization to learn more about their mission/purpose
5. Request to join the organization, or input password provided by the orgs staff.
6. You may also want to send the president of the organization an email stating that you have requested to join the OrgSync group.
